Excellent 2024 results for DCO - Top 5% of schools in England
Posted 6th December 2024 by Phil Grove
Results for the 2023-24 academic year have now been released by the Department for Education, and we are very proud to announce that Dixons Cottingley Academy has placed in the top 3 schools in Bradford for our Progress measure, meaning students are leaving DCO with better results than they would otherwise be expected to achieve.
Our 4+ rate is 75.4%, and 5+ rate is 53.6%, meaning of all of our students, three quarters are leaving with grade 4 and above in their GCSEs, and over half are leaving with 5 and above.
We are also proud to be able to announce that we are placed in the top 5% of schools nationally in England for our students' progress.
Students are very well served at DCO with these nationally leading results, good OFSTED rating, excellent vocational options, and high achieving inclusion and sporting awards.
We are incredibly proud of everything our school has achieved, and we are pleased to continue succeeding in our Trust Mission of challenging Social and Educational disadvantage in the North.
